Hyssop Project really delivers. We met Sheahan at the Grand Designs show in 2017 and put the idea to him for a wrap-around extension and refurbishment for our ground floor flat. From the design phase partnered through Justin at Sterling White, to the planning and execution, Sheahan’s experience, professionalism and attention to detail, not to mention his partnerships with many other experienced sub-contractors, led to results that exceeded our expectations.
Some of the things that really shone were Sheahan’s organisational ability and fastidious approach to keeping us up to date on progress. He is meticulous with budget planning and cost tracking, using an invoicing system that lets you see expenditure against planned budgets, and he communicates progress and risks along the way. Sheahan also stands above others in his attention to site safety and ensuring that the building work is done in accordance with the law. Perhaps most impressive of all, was the incredible coordination of concurrent works, utilising different contractors and against the odds of inclement weather, to bring the works to completion within a tight six month deadline, which we’d agreed upon from the outset.
